Love your videos. Is there special glass requirements in the cabinets so that the outside heat from the sun doesn't effect the interior of the cabinet or condensate the glass? I love the idea of bringing in natural light. I have a similar situation in my new build home and I am thinking of doing something like this. Any advise or recommendation when doing this with windows threw cabinets.

HI fano02, The windows need to be installed long before the cabinets go in. Make sure your Contractor knows exactly where the cabinets will go BEFORE he installs the windows. The cabinet builder and contractor will need to coordinate this effort and its not as easy as it sounds as the attached photo will attest to. In our case when the cabinets arrived it was clear the window had been installed too low. The project was held up by 3 more weeks as the exterior wall needed to be reopened, window moved and wall re stuccoed. It was a nightmare! The windows have a special UV protectant as well for sun protection. In the end, the clients were very happy with the results! Good luck :-) RR
Oh ya, one more thing, I hope your kitchen wall faces something other than the front of your home. The window placement from the outside can look very random. In this case wit was the side of the house so not a big issue.

Thanks RR your the best! I can see where this needs careful planing and proper placement. My kitchen faces the side of the home which faces directly next to another home. Its southern exposure which will give nice bright light and add some warmth in our cold Michigan winters. The rendering I sent was only a concept i will be much more precise in arraigning the cabinets so they will look better and fill the whole wall to the top using part of the space with windows to the top. This is the look we have been looking for, the colors, dimension, the wood floors, and now you have given us LIGHT we love it.

Thanks Rebecca your the best! >>>>>NEW FAN and spreading the word. Steve
