we'll be moving into a new house soon, and i want to update my living room colors without buying all new furniture. I have two 6' sofas that are a dark coral color, an easy chair of coral, green, black floral. I'd like to incorporate blues into the room in place of the green, and I'd like to make the overall look a little less traditional. I could get the chair reupholstered if I can pull it all together. The rug I have is neutral beige with a small rust border and a 5 inch gray green border. The living room is separated from the dining room by a half wall, and there is a large 4 foot doorway into the kitchen's gathering room/dining area. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
