Hi and thanks for the question. There are very strict installation requirements for this type of arrangement. Because those requirements were not adhered to by the subcontractor who worked on the previous house, a fire occurred that destroyed this house. I don't know these specifications off the top of my head but I know the are minimum clearances that need to be maintained. Check with the BBQ manufacturer for these specs and then use common sense.
