Our white Quartz takes on red stains in particular easily. I get them out with oxy clean made into a paste and set on. I don't know about other people, but our fruit and soda stains have absorbed in and surface cleaning didn't help. The oxy clean works perfectly and left no etching!

HELP! I have new arctic white quartz counters (Q brand) grey and red marks keep appearing. They look like scratches. I have not even used my kitchen yet. Has anyone had a problem like this?

quartz should not stain... that said, I don't use off brands, only two companies that have been around at least 10 years because I cant risk to put in a material in a clients home that will fail. You can have the company you purchased from come out and have a look and see what they can do. In my experience they will always try to blame the client, which is awful, but really stick to your guns... quartz should not stain, and certainly should not have what you describe coming to the surface. It actually worries me that the resin is leaching or something. you may be able to sand it down and seal it but I dont think manufactured quartz can be sealed and I wouldnt mess around with chemicals like this in something you're exposed to on a daily basis.
