Crown molding in kitchen

I'm about to have the molding installed that was ordered with my Omega Dynasty cabinets to match, but have just realized that I won't be able to find the same molding profile to use for the rest of the kitchen walls and adjoining family room unless I order from the cabinet company. And the issue being that the lengths they are sold in are not ideal for my walls and would mean seams. It would appear my options are 1) live with seams in order to have a consistent molding, 2) use a different molding for the walls (concerned that'll look bad), or 3) forget the molding on the walls altogether. I only have 8' ceilings and I had hoped to dress them up a little but didn't anticipate these issues. When the cabinet molding is up, it will touch the ceiling.
