I am planning a two story addition to add a new bedroom and bathroom. I am having some design challenges in deciding where to place them.
My as is plan is attached (north being the top)
Key dilemmas:
-Whether to put the bedroom on the south side vs. north side (considering I am on a corner and south is the street side)
-Space allocation between bedroom, baths and closets.
- Natural light from south side (better in Bedroom or bathroom)

Attached are some options

Option A: Bedroom on north side, keeps existing bath where it is, cuts new hall into existing bedroom, south side nook in bedroom
dilemmas: hall is small, will nook be used? makes existing bedroom smaller
another version could be to expand the master bath into the nook (add a tub) and shift existing bath too to make it bigger and hallway bigger too - tub/smaller bedroom vs. nook use?

Option B: Bedroom on south side, all new in addition, bigger hall
- too exposed? no window in main bath, doesnt seem as "separated" from master, main bath still small, is bigger hall waste of space?

Option C: Modification to Option A but swaps master bath and closet - bigger nook.
- better to have master bath on south side?

Lots of other options too but this narrows down the "dilemmas"
