Glaze tub white...keep basin! I'd love it!! Look, people interested in buying your house are not going to NOT buy it due to beautiful blue sink. Let them change it out if they choose.

Thanks Judy I agree nothing keeps the bath hotter, I'm thinking of creating a wooden floor platform for the bath and wasn't sure if I could re enamel in white going against the original colour.

Do not change the color of that tub. It is fabulous and that shape is hard to find. Blue is a very soothing color so please do not make it white. You can add a trim of blue glass as a border. For the floor get gray marble hexagon tile and do it old school with a modern touch. I happen to have a white cast iron tub but mine is white and my tiles are green. I love walking into this bathroom. Just makes me so happy. Also spray your tube with peroxide and baking soda. It will take most those stains out and keep your tube looking fabu. My uncle accidentally put clorox in the tube and it turn orange but the peroxide and baking soda neutralized it. If you decide to put tiles on the floor get someone who is going to do mud work. Meaning no cement board. Old school mud work is cement with the wire mesh followed by the tiles on top. You will never have problems with water seepage. Take Care and please submit an update.
