I agree with it looking nice w/ the contrast of the moulding, but i would just be careful that it doesn't make your room too dark....nothing worse than dark rooms :( Maybe you could go a colour in between?

The right hand color is better if you want the walls to blend with the flooring. However, if you want the walls to contrast the left color is better. What are you looking for in terms of color, blending or contrast? There is no right or wrong, it is akin to do you like white or dark meat when discussing poultry.

I like the revere pewter for sure. It's a classy historical color, and will be easier to match down the road. The one on the right is too peachy for my taste.

I don't think so, l0vit. I think the line is at the right edge of the window on the left. Made me wash my monitor anyway.

That said, there is so little difference between the two, I don't think we can reliably judge on a monitor. Trust your gut. Or flip a coin.

I think you're right Grover. That was the first line I seen but then thought is it just light from the window changing the colour. Anyway they look practically same colour to me, similar to when you have a matte and semi gloss in same colour.

Here's more photos I just took with test lamps lit. I will be getting all new furniture in the grays, whites, creams, maybe blues, maybe browns, and I'll find another color somehow to tie in.
The 1 picture is the line delineation of paint color in the wall. It changes as a vertical line right at right side of window. Left side of the wall is Revere Pewter and right side of wall is painter adding together grays with beige in it.

I like whichever matches your floor better, and I think that is the right. I would actually like to see a bit more beige, less gray to blend with the tile.

I think both are very pretty, and I like the beige floors with the warm gray walls especially if you incorporate gray and beige in you furniture.

I use Revere Pewter a lot with my client projects. It's a beautiful gray that still has warmth to it. One of my favorite Benjamin Moore colors!

Love the pillows on your barstools. They look great with the Revere Pewter!

If you want to play up the beige tones in your floor, go with the blended color.

I've been pondering back and forth with these 2 colors for over a week now and the painter wants to buy the paint tomorrow hopefully I have an answer for him of which color. I like them both. All I want is for the house to look like a model house when finished. Next after the paint is picked is furniture, rugs, wall art and lignting. The house is empty and no lights just temporary contractor bulbs and I'm not keeping any of my old furniture for this new house because it's all old world and I want the fresh transitional look in this new house. Other house is for sale and hoping to sell furnished.

Right. The grey seems warmer and a better fit with your tiles, The one on the left looks too cold. BUT I'm just going on the colors I see on my monitor, only you can really see it best.
I'm sure it will look beautiful either way but I hope you don't forget to give your model house some personality with some amazing art.

It's very hard to tell true color on computer. They look the same. Which do u like?

use both! The lighter Grey use on the wall that will have less natural light in the dawn and dusk hours, or as an accent wall or on the ceiling.

There should be a rule about leaving dilemma's hanging....closure required!
