You are correct about pink tone. I went to see the Gibli Beige in warehouse and had a pink tone to it.

I would go with another countertop choice other than those pictured. IMO, a super white stone would look best with the dark cabs & flooring ... and that is very hard to find in granite. Are you opposed to quartz?

Why don't you look at Quartz from Ceasarstone or Pental or Silestone. Much simpler as far as pattern, man made, durable. Granite is used less and less these days.

What does the rest of your house look like? The kitchen should be a part of the whole.

The only sample of the ones you've shown that is both light and not too busy is the second one down in the far right column, I'd either look at that one or at others like it in granite or quartz.

I think with these options I would go with the dark counter and then choose a lighter (not white) backsplash. The main "problem" I think is less with the counter and cabinet combo but that the floor is also very dark. (Search houzz photos and you'll see the floor is usually lighter than dark cabinets). So I would consider using some durable light-ish rugs in your kitchen to break up some of the floor.

I like the last row on right the lighter one. Don't go to dark. On counters. Walls a soft gray.

My builder gave me great advice about choosing colors for counter/floors/cabinet. He said one is light, one is medium & one is dark & that will strike a good balance. When I looked at kitchens on Houzz that I liked the best, this concept rang true.

Uba Tuba is very pretty & well liked but to offset all the dark you'll have to have lots of windows or great light. I'm building right now too & picked a similar cabinet color & wanted black countertops as well. Originally I was going to do medium wood floors & then had a change of heart & went with a lighter white & beige tile. Now that it's in I am so glad I didn't do the wood. Even with lots of windows from an adjacent dining room, it's just light enough. Had I done the dark floors, it really would have been too much.

Hi---I like two---Second stone in column 3 and Third stone in 4th column. I recommend not going any darker with your granite, as the wood tones are dark enough. I like what you've selected thus far. For wall color, check BM's Collingwood---simple splash. Pic is paint and splash inspiration. Good Luck!

I agree with Natalie regarding third stone in last column of tiles. I have a feeling though the kitchen will look very dark with both floors and cabinets in dar brown.

Third column down, second stone in would be beautiful. Not stark, and not too dark. But I'm prejudiced...it's what I chose from my builder options. Lol. But it's also what they had in their model home and I liked it so well that I got it. Picked up the brown in my cabinets and floors perfectly. :).

Yes- these granites are way too dark and busy. I would try a bright quartz, or marble if you aren't afraid of the aging.
