How about mirrors behind the end tables with great lamps? No more blah! I agree with abbyjean the art would look nice on the right of the bed wall.

I think it should be raised about six inches. Will you be adding side lamps? If you add a half sized painting on either side with similar style and colors about 12" from the center painting you may get the affect you want. Really nice colors and furniture style in your room.

Agree tall mirrors on either side of the bed add height & depth. Two lamps & the art on a smaller wall & your room will come together nicely. Good luck.

Thank you all so much for the feedback! Yes, I'll be adding lamps on the nightstand. I have these two pictures which are from the same artist and collection, but different frames from the large picture. I could hang one on each side picture. Thoughts?

First of all, you have a beautiful bed! I agree that you should move the painting up - almost centered vertically but a touch less wall between the headboard and the bottom of the painting. This is definitely a stand alone painting and the other paintings will detract from it. Find another place to put them. Add some crown molding to set off this whole grand look - it does wonders for every room in the house! I like the idea of tall lamps on the nightstands. Add some drapes to the windows - that'll do wonders, too. Try Pottery Barn - they have a look for everyone.

It would be nice if all three paintings could share the room, but not the same space.

Hang the narrow ones on the wall, one above the other about 6" apart, centered on the wall to the right of the bed. Do raise the larger one somewhat. You can enjoy the smaller ones while in bed.

Beautiful bed! I would make it the focal point in the room. Change the bedding to a duvet cover that brings in the jade green from the color of the wall. As mentioned, I like the idea of adding mirrors-in a platinum or silver frame over nightstands or even above the bed to add light to the room, since it is a small and cozy space. I would place the larger print on the side wall. Its shape and size will work better in that space.

I think you need a larger, horizontal picture over the bed. Pretty as that is, it looks lost there.

I would move the large painting to the wall to the right of the bed. The vertical orientation of the painting will work better there. I would not use the other two paintings in the same room. They will be a distraction.

I usually do not like art above the bed...and this art seems to be to small for the wall in width. so I would move it over to the other wall. and I love the idea of the mirrora behind night stands with even a chandelier hanging down from the ceiling over each night stand. This is a very romantic look. Then find something else like a wall statue...that is romantic
