i voted for the Tuscan project and i liked very much the traditional dining room as well,being fond of rustic,vintage and traditional European styles i couldn't resist the beauty of the colors and the lighting with the fine wooden tables,chairs and wooden floor, i of course prefer using Persian carpets and curtains folded in European style or at least in a way that doesn't show the hangers.

I voted for Orchard Dining Room ....my style is much more traditional that this but I liked the clean lines and the distincly modern overtones but still the room has warmth ...importantly, I can see a real family functioning in it ...and living definitely in style....

Another hard one - they're all amazing! Orchard Dining Room is jaw dropping, but not sure about watching myself eat . . . also, according to Feng Shui, it's not good to dine on a glass table. They say that guests see their legs and subconsciously think about leaving. Who knows?

City Retreat is perfection, but really, I can't see myself throwin' down with a bowl of chili, cornbread and some strawberry shortcake with all that white.

The Private Loft seems most flexible: it looks like it could handle anything the hosts would serve.

As far as colors that are conducive to eating, the Traditional Home has it.

All this dining room talk's got me hungry!

The private loft is elegant and sophisticated "big city" with a view -- imagine the lights at night! Not my style. Second would be Tuscan -- I can imagine great Italian food and wine at that table!

The view in the private loft is what put it over the top for me.

Private loft gets my vote. That chandelier is magnificent!

Although all of them had bits and pieces to them I liked in my mind I didn't really feel that I would want any of them as my dining room. I guess I am the type person who loves a space that makes me feel warm and cozy . All were done up beautifully for a spread in a magazine . Tuscan walls were so inviting and warm yet felt stiff. Eclectic almost had me since it gave me more of a cozy feeling with the farm table yet the white of the chairs left me cold, chairs stain to me would have been nicer had they been stained like the table top, the cloth covered chairs were not cup of tea , they as well looked to formal to me . If I had to choose I picked the loft not because its actually my style, but looked like a good time could be had with good friends there . The square table seemed more like drawing people in with conversation.

I voted for the Orchard Dining Room . I love the glamour and it also has natural light and a view. In reality I am closer to the eclectic dining room in my own home, it just feels cozy and welcoming, if a little too "designed". This is fun and all the rooms are fantastic!

I voted Eclectic...only because I'm from Elmhurst. Actually none of them were for me, but I voted anyway.

I voted for Tuscan, but also loved the Private Loft. They both would look stunning at night. I can't see the City Retreat displaying great ambiance at night.... a little too milky.

I like the private loft because of its modern clean style which is suitable for any time.

Hands down City Retreat. Such clean simplicity with the stark white and the geometric repetition in the two paintings. Love it!!!

I also loved the City Retreat, BUT who could resist the incredible view AND the fireplace in the loft. The table and chairs look comfortable and inviting. I vote for the loft.

I'm torn between Orchard Dining Room and Private Loft, I love everything about the orchard room but wish the chair backs were a little higher for a more relaxing feel, as for the Private loft I love the view and fireplace..well I guess the Orchard Dining room gets my vote..

Hard to make a choice. Orchard, Private Loft, and City Retreat all have some elements I like but also big negatives in terms of what I think makes a dining room comfortable for family and guests. Of the three I would settle on Orchard, but I would never want to eat in front of a huge mirror and I wouldn't expect anyone else to do it either.

I voted for City Retreat because I thought the rounded shapes of the table and chairs would be the most conducive to creating an intimate, comfortable place for guests to linger over a meal. Even the bare floor says relax, it's ok if something is dropped. Sophisticated but friendly.

I agree with other comments that it was hard to vote for there were a few interiors that I thought were terrific, however, the balance, use of accent colors and sensitivity to proportion is why I voted for City Retreat.

I loved Orchard Dining . I loved everything in the picture: low chairs that don't overpower table, mirror , calming colors and of course the most gorgeous chandelier. It is glamorous , airy and cozy and simple and that's why it's so magnetic and beautiful!

I really loved the private loft because it was modern but not cold at uninviteing the only down fall for me was that the dinning table and chairs looked alot smaller than the rest of the room but maybe it was just the angle of the photo but i ended up voteing for the tuscan project because it was very classic and grand which i tend to gravitate towards more than anything and i have to say i tip my hat to whoever picked out those dinning chairs bbecause those are just beautifull.

If City Retreat had some color on that back wall I would be all over that. As is I get a bit of snowblindness just looking at it. The painting on the back wall has several clues as to what would have worked as an accent color. The chairs, table and light fixture are great. They just need an anchor color to really pop.

I'm all over the Orchard Dining Room - Michael Abrams Limited, because it is modern, sophisticated, elegant, warm and comfortable. I loved the City Retreat, but it lacked warmth. Warmth is so important in a dining room. The chandelier is fabulous and I love how the huge mirror reflects everything.

I like them all for very different reasons, but vote for the Orchard. As Madison mentions above, it is not only modern and sophisticated but also has the added components of warmth and comfort. A great combo for entertaining or simply having an intimate dinner for two. Altho I do understand the floor length mirror for design purposes, and it certainly adds to the drama, wonder if it wouldn't be a distraction for actual dinner parties. I could see this design in a number of different venues, but what comes to mind first is a city penthouse with a 180 view.

I admit I'm into the moderns so the City Retreat got my vote. I also tend to like the white scheme. The Orchard Dining Room is a close second. I used to be into the classic, traditional styles, but not anymore.

I couldn't decide between the City Retreat and the Private Loft. Both felt like places where I would like to sit for hours over a meal with friends and family. Just enough style for interest and atmosphere without taking over the meal table.

It's a matter of taste. While I appreciate good taste and elegance, none of the dining rooms are what I would choose. But The City Retreat looks so crisp, fun and inviting. It is the one where I would love to spend an evening with friends. Obviously I prefer casual over formal.

None. Probably because they are all so cold and impersonal. Don't get me wrong, I like simple, clean lines (I'm a fan of the Japanese esthetic), but I just don't see any personality coming through in any of these rooms. Not one would make me pick up the phone.

That huge mirror is a knockout on the Orchard Dining Room! What a wonderful reflections during a meal or cocktail hour. It would create alot of movement and excitement in the room. Love it!

The eclectic dining room is the only one that seems to have any life. Some of the others look like a surgical room - way to sterile and devoid of any feeling.

Liked the gutsiness of the Loft but voted for the Retreat for the calmness. Wish they would have either incorporated a washed oriental rug to relieve the hardness of the room and to absorb some sound. Love the drapes....did dining room drapes for a client in two different types of silk in the same color....lush! The silk drapes frame a window with a view of the Space Needle in Seattle

I chose PRIVATE LOFT! It was complex in its simplicity! Everything just worked! The warm brown wood tones contrasted with a basic neutral beige...I even loved the chandelier...placed high enough to not overwhelm guests but rather let the light caress them. I also like the simple table with what looks like VERY comfortable chairs! I could sit there all night after dinner by the fireplace....sipping coffee or having a drink....with that view, those chairs. To me, the PERFECT dining room for everyday AND more formal dinners. Perfection!

Orchard came in 2nd! Love it....but not a big fan of glass dining tables.

The City Retreat looks like a light 'n breezy, fresh place to gather. The Private Loft is stunning and sophisticated. When entertaining, I like being in a space where everyone has plenty of room to move and air to breath. Both rooms offer that in lovely neutral palettes, but I voted for City Retreat because of the dining chairs. The high back chairs in the Private Loft are more elegant, but the armchairs in the City Retreat would be more comfortable and relaxing.

City Retreat is my favourite, I really love the lamp and the neat look of the room.

I love the last one, love the green and whole look and layout. Close to my choice of a dining table, homely and warm.

Traditional is Timeless.

Private loft, because it nails the uprights- contemporary without feeling contrived, warm without being "kitschy" (sorry, "Tuscany") r oh-so-now and sterile (Sorry, City Retreat), has great space to move around in, takes advantage of an interesting view, and has materials that could skew to any style you wanted to decorate.
