Laundry in bathroom?

Hi, we must renovate our bathroom (old, water issues) and are considering expanding the space to take over the closet of the adjacent bedroom and the linen closet so that it can be larger and also hold a stacked washer/dryer. One reason to do this is that eventually we hope to add a second bathroom with master closer en suite to the back bedroom which would take over the space where the current washer dryer is. In addition, we are two people in the house and my thought is that we will use this bathroom more if it is both a bathroom and a laundry room and take advantage of the space for hanging delicates, etc. If we take over the current closets we will integrate new closets in the bedroom, possibly around the window, maybe with a bench between the two closets. This would reduce the size of the second bedroom which is currently 14'x14' 2" to approximately 11' 6"x 14'2". The space for the bathroom/laundry would go from 5x10 to 7'6"x10. See attached drawing. Does this make sense?

For the bathroom renovation we have several goals:

*Move toilet further from the door for privacy
* move door to bathroom so it cannot be seen from the living room/dining room
* probably convert tub to standing shower, or remove tub and add only standing shower (thinking the master bath will have nice tub.)
* create place to hang laundry
*integrate space for linens in the bathroom.

Any suggestion on the overall concept or specifically on how best to layout the bathroom with laundry?
