My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

Trying to understand this staircase

I really like this staircase, very light and modern. I am trying to figure out how much space was left in between each iron rod that goes across on the veranda part. What other details can you provide me in regards to measurements and structure of this veranda. What materials is it made from? I am trying to copy this model for my stairs. I love it! Thanks.

    Spacing on handrailings is generally dictated by building code.

    Dear Filippelli,

    The staircase is all steel. The treads, landing and risers are mesh steel which is what gives it translucency. Per the standard residential code, there is 4" between each horizontal rod and 4" between each riser.
