Can you tell me the color of the stain?

Hello. That is something we did on-site with the contractor. We had the finishers try different colors of stain for us and that is how we selected it. So it doesn't have a "named color". I think it may have been a medium walnut or mahogany stain color. Sorry.

Wonderful room - reminds me a quinta lounge/library in the Douro. Love the leather chairs. Q: how does one orchestrate the on and off for lights over the bookcases?

Thanks you for the nice comment. Those lights are either on a seperate wall switch or they are tied into the room's Lutron wall panel. I can't remember which.
