Thanks so much, when I present my ideas to a contractor they think I am nuts. I designed this bathroom to be ada but didn't want it to look like a handicap bath (I was in a car accident and had spent time in a wheelchair I understood the obstacles literally.) I placed a plug low in the bathroom, did a floating vanity and a zero entry shower. The toilet is placed in an unusual area so that I would have the 5 feet. The metal walls created a wet bath inexpensively.

Finding attractive grab bars was a challenge, I ended up spending more on the grab bars than planned but they do look closer to towel racks. This is the only bathroom in the house so it had to be attractive and functional that way. Good luck on your project.

I love the metal walls!.....I too am in the process of remodeling my 50's tiny bathroom where every 1/4 in do counts and got the same response from contractors and real estate agents...they all think I'm nuts for wanting the metal walls and that it'll never go well if I ever decide to sell the apartment.....ugh
Was is hard to install the galvanized sheathing? I have solid concrete walls....
You did a great job!

Used sleuter to edge the shower tile and left thin gap behind to slide first sheet in, attached with metal roof screws. Hardest part is cutting it very sharp wear gloves. For concrete you will need to add wood to attach metal but not sure. I needed a wet bath so the metal walls are functional and attractive.
