Your rooms are lovely. I would add floor lamps at either end of couch, as lighting is important. Or add on one side, then a table/lamp at other end. Look for a side table in a dark wood tone, to compliment furniture in dining area. When selecting lighting, try to compliment island's fixtures. l would advise to add a rug that has colour interest. While you've done well at keeping the black/red/white theme, its very consistent.

i think a black or red greek key rug (trina turk has a gorgeous one) would really pop!
