I'm trying to complete my living room before the holidays, but I seem to have ran into a slump on the creative side. I have no idea what to do regarding the rug, a chair, or t.v. stand. I was going to refurnish the old dresser that my t.v. is currently sitting on, but I just don't have the time or energy, so I'm willing to buy new. Attached is a picture of what I'm considering for a "t.v. stand." Also, I've been searching for a rug and chair for months, but I can't figure it out. My design muse has ran away from me. Where did he go!? Please help! Any ideas?
