We finished construction in August of a ground level space that was the back of the garage that we converted to living space. Since then, I've realized that the contractor forgot to nail in the risers on the stairs (they were only glued) and never put the flash metal above the window & door trim, which we realized because the door expanded from getting wet and wouldn't open/close properly.

Now I'm seeing that one of the floor boards of on the hardwood floor is starting to warp (you can feel the unevenness and see it too). Is this going to be a major problem? With the prior problems, the GC was not quick to offer to fix them without a LOT of evidence. I feel like his answer to this will just be to brush it off. Anyone have ideas what could cause it? It is ground level, but they leveled with concrete, then vapor barrier, then plywood. Could there just be a gap in the vapor barrier? I did wonder about them walking around on the vapor barrier for weeks that it would tear or get a hole that would allow moisture in.
