ok, the room needs to be flipped around, this will help create a divide for the entry area too. flip the couch so it is looking at the wall it is on now. move the tv there, get a longer, more low console for it. put a long narrow sofa table behind the couch. add another chair the same, and flank either side. add back in an area rg. and paint that wall the same as the rest of the walls, maybe add some book case or display shelves where the tv is now.

put the large art on the back wall for now but hang it lower than you have it.

I'm loving it so far...feels so much more cozy and homey. Still work to do...but it's off to a great start!

put the unicorn on the green wall and that small console table you had under where you have the ottoman. put the ottoman on the window side for now. and take out that table under the window. that mirror is killer!!! might look good on that back wall too. hang your art at eye level .... its really so much better. oh can we put that dining chair somewhere else too?

Thanks so much everyone!! I actually moved the console to the green wall but don't have a pic. It's coming along! The ottoman is for the dog and has already been moved as well. Def need to move Uni...I'm tall and almost run into him every day. :)

The dark curtains are Ritva "98 from Ikea. The printed ones are from TJ Maxx. Can't recall brand - sorry.

Also - table under window is the dog crate. ;)

ok if you are tall, then eye level doesnt work for the art hahaha, try lowering a smidge like 6 inches or so.

fidos crate fit in corner of green wall..so its not so "hi im a dog crate" when pple walk in hahahaha....

For some reason I'm finding the drapes need to be reversed so the print ones are on the outside. Let me know. I may be wrong. Art should be hung at eye level while sitting.

I wouldn't change a thing!!! I absolutely love it!! We have very similar decor preferences and color schemes... right down to the unicorn head.: I have one in my computer room. I love the grey colors but i can't tell if I love the green or hate it lol..: I do love unique styles though. Your rocking it!
