can I transform my 1892 2 story wreck into this? the house has had 4 additions to the original house and part of the original Roof system is in the attic of my 2 story, supposedly Victorian? would love to take the entire second floor off, since the roof leaks everywhere,, and this is a dream house to me,

I live in Northwesternn IL, this is going to be a total gut job, and a "Not" Renovation, so far i have 95% of the first floor striped to the studs and about 35% of the 2nd Floor, the Roof Needs to be replaced totally, the additions were done incorrectly so no flashing was placed in the valleys to prevent water from entering the stucture over time and it has taken its toll on the Structure, it would be easier to transform it into a single story than it would be to fix all the isuues, I am totally rewiring, Plumbing .. pretty sure it wouldnt be feasable to come here but if you do designing from there i would be more than happy for the help,, a big problem is the village I live in requires no codes, no permit process, and the county goes by whatever the "City" does.. go figure
