Suggest you try to orient the adult seating area toward the view...no furniture in front of windows facing inward...also delineate the play area with see through decorative partitions that feature drawer storage across the bottom and open cubby spaces above..kind of like a play house with kid size furniture and a suggestion of privacy and ownership of that space for the children
