Also CDR, pardon the mess but yea it's a small space and I feel like positioning the couch there might inhibit walkability through the condo. The style of the home is like a town home so the spacing expands up rather than out.

I still think it would look so much better to place the tv on the large blank wall and face the sofa floated, toward that wall.

Now that I see the kitchen table, I am more convinced this is the way to go.

You can leave the tv for now. Can you please turn the sofa and see how you like it?

Alternative is :

Again, turn the sofa to face large wall. Then move it up to where the kitchen table is.
Move kitchen table to by the window.

Could you try moving your couch to the wall on the left and move tv (with console underneath) to opposite wall, to the right of the window - if room with staircase. Then you can add drapery or whatever you prefer on the window, as there is now space on each side. Will also allow for more space in your dining area. If that doesn't work, I would place your dining table in the other directon, to give more space, leave arrangement as is. Either way, it may be a good idea to bring in a 3rd color, which you could incorporate in roman blinds, pillows and art. I only suggested red, due to the red I noticed in your kitchen.

Maureen....that is a possibility also.......you mean tv between the Franch door and stairway?

If room, that is another idea. I also would consider on the stairway wall.

Bottom line.....tv is never going to look good and window is never going to look good next to each other.

Truly, tv must be moved.

Ok, you know your view isn't great. To allow maximum light in, do a sheer blind or roman shade with panels on the side that you can draw together at night for privacy.

I like the "playroom" photo pcmom1 showed, with drapes covering the entire wall. It will make your space feel larger and less choppy.....and you need the privacy.
