You should get fresh white picture frames w/ paisley style artwork inside of them and possible two dark wood nightstands with lamps that have colored bases to match the colors you find in the comforter. Hope this helps :)

First off I think you should repaint the walls an even lighter beige, it will contrast nicely with your dark furniture and really brighten and open the space up! I'm with momsie8 that 2 nightstands are in order as well- a small 24" max one that will squeeze in that space. An area rug is a great way to add color as well as drapery and art work. You should pick 2 colors you really love (possibly in the bedding) and make those your accent colors for your pillows, and art work. Overall a very neutral tone will look so fresh and open especially with the dark furniture in a small space. Take a look at the photos below for some more inspiration!
