This is a product called "Highline" from Bruck. You can learn more here: http://brucklighting.com/index.php?option=com_virtuemart&Itemid=60. These can be very tricky to install, as there are very tight tolerances. –Studio Santalla

The actual cost is more like a couple of thousand dollars after you add the five fixtures, five lamps, remote transformer(s), etc. also, very difficult to install. All I'm saying is if you're going to do this, hire an electrician with low voltage experience.

Your comment seems to insinuate that we mis-represented the product we used here. We did not indicate that these fixtures were inexpensive, or that they are easy to install. In fact we acknowledge that they are actually very tricky to install properly. An experienced electrician should always be called to complete electrical work. Cable lighting was used on this project because the ancient construction of this home made recessed lighting infeasible in most cases.

I am sorry you thought I was insinuating anything. Your design is beautiful. However, as a lighting consultant for residential and commercial spaces I am more aware of the true cost of these systems. Having the "green tag" on the product picture indicating the "system" is around $100.00 is misleading as the average home owner is typically not aware of the intricacies of the design and installation of this type of lighting. My comments were not meant to criticize your company, they were strictly directed at this type of product.

It's unfortunate that the Bruck tags available are only for individual components rather than the system as a whole. We have edited the tag to avoid confusion.
