Costs and service of forced air gas verses floor heating
Electric or water?
Home is in Southern California cool at night due to Pacific Ocean. Home is Close to water.
We are about to start major renovation and can't decide what heating and then what kind of floors should go on top.
I like indoor outdoor idea of flow from living room, kitchen, patio and deck? Home is open style modern plan. We are thrilled with architects design ( Horst) but now comes the serious part. Without breaking the pocket book.
I lean towards tiles, any thoughts on durability, and experience with costs etc?
Any input Would be greatly appreciated.
