Need help with deck privacy

We live in a villa and this is what we see when we go onto our deck. We would love some privacy and were thinking about a built in fireplace or grilling area but not sure it can go on a wood deck thats about 8 feet off the ground. Would love some ideas!

Right here on Houzz I saw a very cool idea where they screened with bamboo plants (keeps it control)in large decorative pots that I promise looks wonderful ...go to landscape section and I think it's still on there. They grow really tall and great for screening. They have 3-4 pots of it .....had thoughts of using it myself to screen off a porch.....

I think thats a great idea and I tried one to see how it could help. Problem is, we live in the midwest and are about to the end of the season for allowing outdoor plants. :(

privacy screen lattice might help google for privacy screen fence you may find what you like and fit your property nicely
