We just installed Ikea Adel cabinets (slightly creamy white color) and our contractor hung crown molding at the top in a matching color. I love everything in my kitchen so far (especially the blue bead board ceiling) I just don't know what color to paint the walls at this point.

Since the crown is the off white Adel color, what color white would/could look good on the walls? My thought is to go with the same color as the molding, but in a matte, and then use semi-gloss like we did on the crown on the rest of the trim throughout the kitchen/house.

I am open to using a true color and not white on the walls, I just don't want to take away from the focal point of the blue ceiling. Maybe a much paler blue on the walls?

Any ideas/thoughts? Thanks in advance!
