I am looking to purchase new (and much prettier)curtins for large window in family room. - im just confused if I should leave the curtin rods in the same area or extend above the window? We leave the curtins open mostly during the day until late afternoon ( as the sun sets, it blinds us while we eat dinner in the small dining area behind couch)
