I love the cooktop and oven that you picked. Can you tell me the model # for cooktop and oven? I got kitchenaids too.

I cannot imagine that any "Kitchen Designer" would design a cooking area with no space to work on either side of the cooktop. Even the smallest apartments have more room to work than this. This is a very serious and potentially dangerous design flaw. A real cook would never buy this house.

I can't help but think with all that run of cabinetry why the small island cabinet completely dominated by a cooktop and oven?? I can't think of a more inconvenient place to cook.

Yes the island is way too small without any workspace. Two other glaring problems, why would the cooktop be set to face towards the wall/window instead of out towards the room? Also, your legs, knees run into the oven while cooking. a truly awful design.

It is only a problem if you are hosting a cooking show; otherwise I see plenty of workspace!
