My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

One more try for information on the BEAUTIFUL backsplash in this BEAUTIFUL kitchen

Hello,
I noticed that several people have asked and no concrete answer as of yet. I thought I would try one more time. This kitchen is really beautiful--our kitchen choices for our renovation are very similar. I was looking for mother of pearl tile for its iridescent quality, but haven't found anything I love. I LOVE this backsplash. If you have a moment to provide information so that I could order a sample, I would appreciate it greatly. Thank you!

      I've seen mother of pearl sheets at Lowe's in Michigan...I have no idea what's on this wall, but it looks pretty similar. The are 1" squares on a 12"x12" sheet, about $10 bucks each.

      AKDO also does similar mosaics in 3/8" x 3/8" in Calacatta marble. Pricey though. Local dealer quoted about $80/sqft. http://www.akdo.com/products_list.asp?catid=63&mcatid=11

      I have send this a couple of tiles. See above. is is Calcutta 5/8 x5/8. but you can shop it around.

      Oceanside Glasstile also has a glass line called Facets, this particular backsplash looks a lot like our blend Veil. We also manufacture lines for Ann Sacks. :)

      Think the marble sometimes shimmers when light hits it at certain angle. Our mother of pearl has same look. Pic posted in earlier comments.
