Sounds like a great plan, Emily! Hard to say, definitively, without seeing the gray tones of the couch. If the gray is deep/rich enough, it will hold up to the boldness of the rug and the medium/dark navy. If it is more of a dove gray...or a gray with lots of white in it, then I'm not sure.
I think you should go forward. The rug is fab and I love your unexpected accent colors. Think it will come together in a very cohesive, but fun/energetic and fresh way! Don't stress! You'll know when it is all in place, but I think you've got it!

Thanks for your feedback! The sofa is a lighter gray...similar to the walls, but maybe even a bit lighter.

I think it's great! Maybe it's too bold now because it's the focal point at the moment without the furniture in the room. I think you did just fine and it will all come together great once the furniture is in. You could off set it later by adding in decorative elements or pillows that are cream, white, orange, or golden yellow :)

What you have so far looks fabulous. I also think it's going to be a stunning room once you get all the furniture in and the pictures hung. (Don't hang them too high.)
