in central florida. ours are falling apart. two sections of plywood pieces together with picture frame of trim. the north side appears to have held up decently over the years. the south side warps like crazy in the summer. wondering myself how I should rebuild them affordably... not the hijack the thread but anyone have suggestions for this humid local and full sun exposure on those south doors? cheers

If painted you could rebuild them so the trim/frame is azek or other composite material; if natural we recommend red cedar, fir, or mahogany. We deal mostly with cold & rain, but these materials hold up well for us. Good luck!

Beautiful barn! At Real Carriage Door Company we design and build custom doors. We've done large doors as well. We also fabricate sliding barn door hardware. Keep us in mind for your next project!
