What is your goal for the FP? Why doors? Why not a beautiful FP Screen like this one in the picture?
You don't want to lose the natural rustic feel of your brick - it looks great with your floors. And you can add some complimenting accents to your mantle & shelves!

I would prefer a screen but my husband wants doors. He like the idea of doors for safety reasons.

Option #1: The above 2 examples feature the Craftsman Door in a Forged Iron finish. This door is laser cut from a sheet of 3/16" thick solid steel and then embellished with hand forged details and a hand applied finish. This will certainly compliment the fireplace.

Option #2: The above 2 examples feature the Carolina Window Pane Door in Vintage Iron. This door is made from 3/16" thick solid steel barstock with welded corners, so it must have a powder coat finish to hide the seams. This makes it less expensive, but it still has the character and look of quality that will compliment the fireplace.

Option #3: The above 2 examples feature the Savannah Door in Rustic Black. This door is made from aluminum extrusions that are miter cut and then pieced together with seams at the corners. Aluminum is much less expensive that the steel doors and has a less elegant look and feel to it, so a door like this might detract from the beauty of your fireplace.
