Help for my kitchen

I am doing organic white quartz countertops, keeping my transitional kitchen with raised panel off cream cabinets and wanted to do calcutta backsplash - torn between the more trendy (?) herringbone pattern and the more classic brick that you see all the time. I know the counters will be a bit boring/modern but clean and functional. I am just not sure what pattern will work best and also thinking resale of my home. Thoughts? Thanks

    If you are keeping the kitchen "white"/off-white then a herring bone pattern can offer texture in place of "colour". This is one way to layer whites/off-whites is to use texture. It all depends on the colours and movement in your materials. Photos of what you have and would like to use would be very helpful.
