With that color scheme I'd suggest a lighter grey.

I guess like the photo I can bring in some taupes as accessory colors and other colors to warm up the room a little. We're doing white woodwork and maybe I'll do white sheets to have a pop.

I would do a warm grey and I love your idea of the lime green, maybe for pillows or a throw on the bed for a punch. Goes well with the brown and grey! BM HC-87 Ashley Grey is lovely if it is not too dark for you. Best of luck!

If it makes sense for your room, add a chair rail and paint it white. This will allow you to have a deeper gray. The chair rail breaks it up and provides relief.

The room is about 126" x 121" King bed and 2 nite stands. I want to make the room look cozy and larger. Keep walls a warmer gray color as suggested? I think the chair rail will make the room look smaller?

Ashley Grey is warm, works best w a creamy white trim, not stark white. If you go to BM paint colors, it is one of the ones in Candice Olson 's Design choices

What color do you use for trim in BM? We wanted to do the entire house, all moldings and doors the same. It's a totally remodeled home at the beach.

I use decorator's white or linen white for a more off-white look.

A king bed in a 10x10.5 room, eh? Keep it lighter. And no my suggestion of chair rail wouldn't work. Take a look at 1459 metro gray. A gray with lavender tone. Works with all you described, with one caution of the lime green accents. Those would be fine if the lime green isn't "acidy"

I did all my trim BM Bone White, a beautiful creamy.. not too yellow.Love it! Linen has slightly less yellow in it . My last beach house I did White Dove, which has less yellow and is a lovely trim color also .

I had a bunch of gray paint samples done. What a difference with daylight and then in the evening with interior light. Very different. Looks awful. Some colors pull green and some pink Etc. ??????

grays are tricky and depends much on the light. What colors did you use? .. Another brand won't make that different.. have to find the one that's pleasing in the light you will most often view it in..It's a hard road to find just the right one.Trial and error. Best is to eliminate what you don't like and talk to guy at paint store about what didn't work..They can help you pull ones that work better... don't be discouraged!

HAVE A LOOK AT BM/PALE OAK...NOT BEIGE, NOT GREY. YOUR METAL BED WILL LOOK GREAT AGAINST IT. PURCHASE A COVERLET THAT MATCHES YOUR WOODWORK AND FOLD THE GREY COMFORTER AT THE FOOT OF THE BED. BRING IN THE LIME IN YOUR PILLOWS (SUGGESTION ABOVE).

This will happen with colors from all manufacturers. It is the daylight and the interior lights. I freak out the first time I turned on a new energy bulb that simulated daylight; it wasn't the light I was used to in the house.

When you go to the Benjamin Moore store, find someone who will spend time with you selecting the color. If they know the line, they should know what are the undertone is in the grey (or as BM spells it Gray). I don't think you don't want the pink undertone.

Take some time to learn how other colors and light effects our perception of a color, too. It is amazing. Also let those samples sit on the wall for awhile. Look at each of them on their own, to see if one grows on you, as the better choice for day and night. Make sure you label the samples. It is easy to get confused which is which. Another suggesting I have is to buy the matte finish for a flat color, which reflects light less but is easier to clean.

Also, search Houzz for "small bedrooms" for ideas.

The comforter I purchased looks gray. It evidentally pulls some brown color and then leans toward mauve colors. Looks great daytime-nite not good.

take it with you to store! Unless you really don't like it and can return it??? You may just need to choose a color that doesn't fight with that so much.. another colorway.Use as accent at foot of bed as someone said and use a more neutral, cream or something for big surface of bed?
Certainly best bet is talk to a paint pro at shop...with your comforter if you have not done this.. Best of luck!

a fresh , yellowy green works great at the beach too and will look wonderful with brown!

Benjamin Moore 2111-50 Stone Harbor and 2111-40 Taos Taupe
Both looked gray, very green.
My comforter looks gray, but looks a little taupe under lighting. I'll try and post a photo.

I suggested 1459 metro gray earlier. I use it with slate frequently which is essentially your palette. Gray with lavender undertone.

take a look at Candice Olson Coll. Portland Gray 2109-60.. pink undertones..

Would you consider white walls?
It would be beautiful with the dark floor and dark bed
Use grey blue and sage green accents with a splash of yellow
Chevron grey throw would be great on the bed!

I believe Sherwin Williams purchased Benjamin Moore. Should not be a problem.
