Grommet that is inside the cabinet

We are seriously considering how to do this in my new kitchen. Do you have any use of the cabinet where this is installed? Could you measure the diameter of the hole and last could you please take a picture of what the actual fixture looks like? This is a big decision, especially making a hole in the granite.

Sorry for the late reply, we have been out of town. The post fixed to the breakfast bar is 2" in diameter and fits through the grommet, which is free-floating (it's a collar around the hole in the counter.) The post on the breakfast bar fits inside another post fixed to the bottom of the top drawer in the cabinet. We have use of most of this drawer, as you can see. Please send me pictures when you are done, it's so great that you all are trying this out! We use our breakfast bar every day...it's so handy.
