We are stumped as to most feasible place to add on on to our 1-1/2-story home. It's long and narrow; the first floor is 23.5' deep by 47.5' long. The goal for addition is to have a larger family room with a fireplace. Would love to keep open views of back and side yards and add functional dormers to second floor. Need ideas that work with roof lines and mechanicals and septic out the back.
