Your opinion of Ikea kitchen remodeling?

My kitchen is 80's oak cabinets with black appliances. I hate the cabinet. When ever I see white Ikea cabinets, I really like them. But not sure if they are good enough. I am on a budget.

I've seen some really beautiful ikea cabinets. If you are on a budget they are a good choice.

If you DIY the assembly and installation, they are a good value. If you need to pay labor to have that done, there are better values available.

This depends on the budget, how handy you are AND the layout needed. Even when you use the Ikea assembly team you can get a great kitchen that should stand you in good stead for 15-20 years.

I've assembled my own Ikea kitchen and it took me 1.5 days to do it all...'cause Father in Law couldn't find all of his tools so I had to wait half a day for the jig saw.
