To answer your question: there are different types of wood which all have slight color variations. The floors, doors, and trim are Michigan white maple (very pale), the exposed structural ceiling beams are Douglas Fir (warm reddish brown), the cabinet face panels are Plyboo (variegated bamboo plywood, FSC certified), and the cabinet end panels are mahogany (deep umber color).
