Nothing more classy than black and white. you can never go wrong. I love the s/s behind the range... but not sure about the tile. is it white? it looks kinda green..??

My favorite thus far on the kitchen before and afters . Clean simple classic.... yeah that's what I'm talking about. Awesome job. Now come do mine.... oh but wait I live in a lifeless apartment. Never Mind....

Thanks...Tile is beveled white subway with "platinum" color grout. Wall is light gray. Fireplace dark gray. Fireplace was stucco with rounded corners. I am proud to say I did that part all on my own. Squared the corners and smoothed it out myself with drywall mud.

I love the transformation!! My only beef is with the before and after photos, and it's not just with you. I often find the after photos to be taken from a different angle. I love the close up photos but would love to see the one taken from the original spot the first was.

Of all the kitchens featured on Houzz, I keep coming back to yours. Everyone advises more to go light on the counter tops, but I love the contrast in yours. Do you still love them now that you've lived with them? Or are they a pain to keep looking nice like the black under the grates on my stainless steel range? Love your subway backsplash and the stainless configuration behind your range like I commented on before. I'm still working on that. Yours is are my inspiration kitchen!

I have always known I wanted white cabinets and black counters. I wanted a bit of an industrial look which is why I went with all stainless and created the backsplash. I considered natural stone backsplash but went with the timeless subway tile.

Beautiful! I just put in a peninsula in my kitchen and keep second guessing myself since Center islands are so in style - I never see peninsulas anymore. This looks so much better (as does mine)! Great job!

Cello, when my houzz ap is not working properly, I find it often helps to delete the app an reload. I think that clears out some of the history. It still saves everything you've saved. I have an iPad. I hope this helps.

How do you like the sink against the wall? I see so many sinks in the island and they don't leave much room to work.

I like peninsulas much better. I like lots of counter space when I cook. Islands never made much sense to me, because you can't spread out. Nice Job.
