Sally, I got a big one for my biz space. Probably around 25+ pounds. We can't hit studs the way the walls+hangars (permanently attached to the mirror) are configured. We found anchors that are rated for hollow wall well past 30 pounds. I think we are going with that.

However, before we thought we were ever going to find the right anchor, we were considering anchors plus some supports placed underneath the mirror. It has a thick frame so those lower supports would take some of the shear weight but be hidden.

I'd talk to a glass company to see if they can attach a wedged cut piece of wood or metal strip to the back of the glass. Then you have a matching wedge turned the other way attached to the wall. The mirror back then slips down into the wedge creating one solid piece. It hangs on that solid piece attached to the wall but can be lifted up and out at any time. It works very well on large wall size mirrors.
