I've just aqquired an outdoor table and chairs set (Yay for Freecycle!) that need to be refinished. the grain is raised and rough, so I assume I'll be spending a lot of time with my sander. Once that's done, what sort of finish should I put on it? Should I use something like tung oil, or a varithane type of finish?
