Sunflower Apricot Twist

I did not know that there was such a thing until I saw a pack of seeds at Lowes. I had to have it, even though it will be many months before I can think about planting these seeds. Any one out there had any experience with this variety? Is the color really apricot? The label says pollenless. I assume that it does produce seeds...otherwise I would have an empty packet, LOL!

It looks lovely. The pollenless sunflowers still produce seed. The anthers are trapped in the head, so they aren't released unless they get real hot (the heat makes them open more). This has been done for the florist trade.

Wow, I did not know that there was a green sunflower! The sunflower "Jade" at the bottom of your link looked fun! Now I have to go back and see if I can find that one too! Thanks!

I have Apricot Twist plants growing but the leaves are turning black. What can I do to stop this.
