Other than keep them watered until you plant (I'm going to try to get them all planted in a few days) do you do anything further?
The vendor (sohappy64) had all different kinds so I bought a few more including petunias, which I have had trouble starting in the past. I'm hoping that the numbers of colorful annuals in the flats make a positive impact on my garden. I've been involved in other life stuff the past few years and am reviving the neglected garden this year, it has been quite a bit of work.

I also have bought from the same vendor on EBAY. It was an absolute pleasure! Plants were great and found the cost, well honestly CHEAP! The packaging is professional and no damage at all. Product arrived via Federal Express. Great selection. I have spoken with seller and he works for large greenhouse and these are what he calls "over-runs". That is the reason that he can start the auctions at .99!
He also send me a catalog of items that his company sells, 104 pages full of pictures and information!

I ended up buying lots of little baby plants. Lots. I'm trying to figure out how to plant them all in a short period of time although they will have to wait until next weekend probably. I was thinking that maybe making planting holes with a pitchfork might be an idea?

Please someone help!I am at a loss. I bought over 2000 annual flower plant plugs. I'm in the process of transplanting then into hanging baskets. The company I bought them from in florida said I should use Peters or masterblend fertilizer, 20-10-20.
I live here in N.Y. and a Nursery here said to use Miracle Grow 20-20-20, to let them almost dry out "almost" then water with 20-20-20 ... I don't know what to do ! Should I use 20-20-20 every watering.What number is for the roots and leaf's ? What number is for flowering ... ?

jcnetti I agree with the plug grower. He is recommending a growth formula which is what you need. I would recommend mixing at half strength and using every time you water. You are a long way from blooming at this stage so don't worry about encouraging bloom. Al

It should be easier to find 18-6-12. The ratio remains the same. When the plants approach blooming size you might change to a bloom formula. I don't understand the the formulas you are thinking of which are too high in nitrogen and too low in Phosphorus to be considered a bloom fertilizer. Al
