I have a pretty large balcony facing S-SW with total insolation of about 9 hours on a summers day and approx. 6 on winters. Lowest winter temperature never gets below 35 deg. F. Last year I tried to grow something on it and by now there's a whole jungle. Allmost all of my plants did well but I still have some questions:

- I've 5 Begonia semperflorens plants and I was wondering if they can be transplanted and when, I'm not very satisfied with their current position.

- My lavander plants are growing as good as they can potted in plastic pots that look just like terracota ones but as they were planted in dirt/compost I've added some pumice stone and sand to make soil more porous. Is this ok?

- I have a climbing rose planted in the begining of april this year. It's in a plastic(terracota look alike) pot filled with about 15 gallons of compost and backyard dirt mixture. It developed 3 large branches, about 3 ft. long each, and was very leafy with lots of buds on them. In july, some bugs appeared on those leaves (small green non-flying lice-like creatures) and made them partially dry. I used some sulphurous dust and got rid of them butsome of the leaves had to be removed so one of the branches is naked, still with buds that look healthy all along it. Should I do anything with that branch before autumn or just wait and prune back then?
