Hmmm. I had mine in a basically full sun area of my garden; it is supposed to perennialize in my climate (10a) but didn't-- just stayed an annual for me. Wish I could help more!

I have always been so so tempted by these, but have assumed that, like a lot of stuff that thrives on the West Coast, its not just the heat but the humidity that would get them in other less salubrious climes.

I grew these a few years ago but was disappointed by how tiny and insignificant-looking the flowers were. Maybe I just didn't have enough of them to make any impact.
