I saw tons of more seeds. However, the seeds that were on top of the soil didn't germinate.

Yay! Thank you for sharing the good news. I've got three "Limelight" babies on my porch right now. This is my first year growing four o'clocks. I've got two other varieties going, but "Limelight" was the most reluctant to sprout. I love the leaf color though.
