I like to try new things every year in the garden, just to see what will happen. Last fall I planted and buried numerous nursery pots, the heavy black plastic things, with 3 tulip bulbs in them. In early March, I put them in a larger clay pot with mulch. I had tulips for well over a month. I also like to plant things in pots that can easily be moved to empty spots in the garden.

This year I am going to try sunflowers. I have noticed that HD and other places offer plants already in bloom.

Any suggestions??
