I've never grown these so others who have probably know just by looking but "investigating" is irresistable to me!

Photos 1, 2 and 3 look like Lantana when you compare with pictures from some nursery photos. Link to one below.

Lantana are described as having "stems and leaves covered with rough hairs..." Another link to Floridata with clear example of foliage:

Info on Pentas lanceolata are said to be "somewhat furry and deeply veined" which might match photo 4. They're said to be "vigorous reseeders."

Thank you both for your help. After many hours of researching on the internet, I have found out it is a weed called Virginia Copperleaf and has since been removed. Live and learn!
