Would it be correct to say:

 the term "opium poppy" is just a common name for (all) Papaver somniferum (as is "breadseed poppy")?

 different varieties of Papaver somniferum contain different amounts/potency of opium?

 some varieties of Papaver somniferum have been bred to contain very little (no?) opium?

 all varieties of Papaver somniferum contain some opium?

 one would not be able to tell just by looking at it what variety of Papaver somniferum a plant is (unless you were a an expert of some sort)?

 Have I used the term "opium" correctly above or would it be more correct to say "opiate"
